This album is a very new direction for me. The album itself has a lot of new sounds and more introspective lyrics, as well as different kinds of track manipulation and experimentation that I haven't delved into yet.

This album took about a little over a year to fully realize. From writing, to recording, to mixing, and remixing, it is probably the most work I've ever put into one singular project and I think that it shows within the album that I am really trying to make something that could really be enjoyed thoroughly through several listens.

The album itself is mostly combination of elements of pop, rock, avant-garde, classical and punk sounds. There is no one genre to the album, which is where the title of the album comes from. It combines an assortment of musical colors.

During the making of the album I also got interested in complex harmony. Especially from listening to the Beach Boys (specifically Pet Sounds and Smile), I had always loved them but I really started to take more inspiration from Brian Wilson as a producer and arranger from listening to the 6 1/2 hour Smile Sessions album, and I began to think of my own music in that way, leading to more interesting chord progressions and more harmonies on this album than on previous albums of mine.

I had a lot of fun making this album, and I hope you have a lot of fun listening to it. It's truly a glimpse into my mind and life as I drift from high school onto college, and all of the stresses and whatnot that go with that.
